Looking Toward Lent

The Worship Committee invites you to participate in a brief study of worship during the season of Lent. We will be reading and discussing Worship Matters by Jane Rogers Vann. We will meet on Thursday evenings in March (beginning on March 1) at 6:30 p.m. We will start each evening with a light meal of soup and finish our study by 8 p.m. Please email Rev. Madsen to reserve a copy of the book and to let me know how much soup to prepare.

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you."

2 Corinthians 13:13

Grace--the experience of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Love--God's predisposition toward God's creation.

Communion--the indwelling of Christ with God's people and the tie that binds us one to another.

I hope that if you were to visit with us you would leave worship having experienced those three things.

We invite you to join us for worship on Sunday mornings for Christian education at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 10:30 a.m.
